
Three people were found dead inside a home in Bondurant, Iowa on Thursday night.
Polk County deputies report that they received a call for a welfare check in the 9700 block of NE 88th street in Bondurant around 9:30 p.m. When they got there, they found three people dead inside the home.
The victims in this case have been identified as Mark Nicholson, 58, Charla Nicholson, 56, and Tawni Nicholson, 24.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office identified Chase Nicholson, 20, as a person of interest in this case.
On Friday, police received a call from a Walmart in Neosho, Missouri. They had a male subject go to their service desk in the store, and told them he needed help. Neosho Police Officers responded and contacted a man who identified himself as Chase Nicholson. Nicholson told an officer he had killed three people the night before. Officers were able to verify this information with a “be on the lookout” broadcast that was sent out by Polk County Sheriff’s Department, IA.
Nicholson was taken into custody and transported to the Newton County Jail. Nicholson currently has a “temporary Felony Warrant” out of Polk County for a Triple Homicide.
